Since years ago, computer has become an important tool for educational field, especially for foreign language learning. It is called Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL). Several media and applications of CALL has been developed to support language learning, such as programs, articles, journals, learning sites or webs, and software to practice grammar, vocabulary, listening and pronunciations, and so on.
There are three phases of CALL development in educational field. The first one is called behaviorist where the computer is used as a tutor with audio-lingual method. Secondly, the communicative approach which focuses more on the way to use the form than on the form itself. And the current one is integrative CALL approach where texts, pictures and graphics, sounds and music, animations and video are combined. However, this latest approach is still under development.
